Dickens and DC
Our tour follows the trail of Charles Dickens. We walk where he did in 1842 and 1868 and along the route, we present scenes from "A Christmas Carol" which he wrote in 1843. Gerald Dickens, the descendant of Charles, visited our tour in 2005. We think you'll enjoy it as much as he did!
Charles Dickens in Washington
In the 19th century, Charles Dickens visited the City of Washington, twice. What happened on those visits is a riveting account. Told through stories taken from Dickens letters and his narratives and illuminated with scenes from the classic tale he spun after his first visit. History, drama and Dickens, what could be more delightful? We think you shall agree. Presented every December since 2001.
